Biosecurity Organisms Register for Imported Commodities

The Biosecurity Organisms Register for Imported Commodities (BORIC) records organisms that may be associated with plants or plant products that are imported into New Zealand. The quarantine status for each species is indicated i.e. regulated or non-regulated. Appropriate action will be taken by the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) for regulated species intercepted at New Zealand's border. This list is updated frequently, usually at 1-2 week intervals.
