Monitoring Our Health
The Ministry of Health has updated its strategic plan for the monitoring of the nation's health. The new document contains a detailed design for the NZ Health Monitor (NZHM), which monitors the health status of the population and the main groups within the population, with a particular focus on the personal and social determinants of health, including access to and utilisation of health services. It was launched in 2001 and is managed by Public Health Intelligence.
