The Government has released two Cabinet papers on managing the coexistence of GM and non-GM crops as well as its decisions on the documents.

Paper 1: Overview [

] provides a background to the concept of coexistence and discusses how GM production could be applied within the framework of current New Zealand primary production.
MAF has produced a summary of the major issues identified in submissions and consultation. This information was used to help inform the two reports to Cabinet. The draft of the summary was externally reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
