10 Sector Quartile Analysis

The following tables are based on an analysis of the actual dairy farms monitored as part of the MAF Farm Monitoring programme. It is across the total national sample of 100 farms, and gives a breakdown from the bottom 10 percent of farms to the top 10 percent, both on a physical and financial basis. The analysis was based on sorting the farms according to their net trading profit before tax per hectare.
