Convention on Biological Diversity
- "The Government is a signatory to the Convention on Biological Diversity, having entered into this agreement at the same time as the Framework Convention on Climate Change. Restricting forest carbon credits to protection forests may provide a means of funding the protection and restoration of forest biodiversity without distorting the existing forest industry or the relative position of wood products within it."
