Abstract: This study is known a "Native Fish Survey-Central Otago Assignment". It is a three year study designed to collect information on the distribution of non-migratory Ogato galaxiids and gather samples for positive identification. The first year survey described in this report was carried out under contract to the Department of Conservation (DoC) over the summer of 2000-01.

Abstract: This is a preliminary outline of the scope of an aquatic biota survey of the source waters of the Otago Irrigation Schemes. Sections listing existing data and survey information should not be regarded as exhaustive though indicating a general state of affairs. With regard to specific schemes, only the Hawkdun and Omakau schemes have been completed in any detail at this stage, insufficient information has been sources relating to the other schemes. In particular confirmation of streams involved and hydrological details of abstraction.
