What's New in MAF's Online ETS System?

MAF's ETS Transactions system has been re-released with a number of new user-friendly features based on customer feedback, refined mapping guidelines, and operational streamlining over the past year. See what's new below . . .
When you are on the Property Selection screen you can now search by Land Title Reference . . .

- Search Results show Title Reference and Council
- Clicking on "Add" (
) brings up a new popup window to associate property attributes
- Titles without a spatial link are shown but can't be selected.

The property you have selected is now highlighted . . .
|
- Currently selected property highlighted with a yellow boundary edge
- Applies to the Property Selection and the Forest Mapping screens
- The Zoom tool (
) now highlights your selection on the map

Enhancements on Summary Pages . . .
|
- Property Summary page now shows the Total Area of selected properties
- Forest Summary page has sortable columns . . . click on a column header to sort the table in ascending or descending order
|
Scrolling lists . . .
|
- In the property selection page, a scrolling panel will appear on the “Search Results” and Selected Properties when needed
|
PIN markers when you are scaled out to full extent . . .
|
- Pins show your properties and forest when maps are zoomed out to the full extent
- Select Property map - One pin for each Property
- Forest Map - One Pin for each group of forest stands

If you upload your own shapefile, we have made changes to improve our service to you . . .
|
- Detailed error messages describe any problems such as:
- Shapes that are not constrained to the property boundaries
- a file in an incorrect format
- CAA numbering problems
- overlapping shapes
- polygons less than 1.0 Ha
- To improve our service to all ETS applicants, errors in your shapefile must now be corrected before submitting them to MAF

Invoice addressing is now smarter . . .
|
- If an invoice for a single account has been submitted by someone else, the invoice will be addressed to the Participant, c/o the Submitter, at the Submitter's address.
- In other circumstances the invoice will be addressed to the Submitter

Deleting a property will delete any forest stands on it . . .
|
- When you delete the property, the system will warn you if there are any forest stands inside (or that overlap) that property
- Improves MAF's processing service

Application screens now include a BACK button . . .
|
- Move back and forward through un-submitted
- Supplements the current navigation on the left-hand side

- Forms & Documents
- Forms and documents are now shown in a dropdown list
- Select an item to open it in a separate window
- Access the Consent Form, Approval form (for authorised representative set-up), the invoice, and the application summary as PDFs

You can now enter registered forestry rights and leases that have no fixed expiry date . . .
|
- Where a registered forestry right/lease does not have a fixed expiry date on the contract, you can select an expiry date of "At completion of Harvest".

Updated HELP . . .
|
- The online help (accessed by clicking on the HELP links within the MAF ETS Transactions system) has been updated to reflect the latest improvements
